I have always been captivated by patterns—specifically, the striking similarity between the groove of a vintage vinyl record and the growth rings of a tree. Both hold a history, a rhythm, and a story worth preserving.

The Sylvan Groove was born out of a desire to bring those two worlds together, creating unique, earthy home decor that celebrates a deep love for music and the natural world.

Giving Dead Vinyl a Second Life

Every piece of art I create begins with a story. I specifically hunt for vintage, unplayable, or scratched vinyl records—the ones that have spent decades spinning but can no longer play their tunes. Instead of letting them end up in a landfill, I upcycle them, giving "dead" music a brand-new life on your wall.

By pairing the iconic ridges of classic vinyl with rustic wood backings and hand-selected forest accents like mushrooms, quartz, and pinecones, I twist the nostalgic feel of music into a modern, multi-dimensional statement piece.

Everything you see here is individually designed, arranged, and assembled by me right here in North Carolina. Whether I am sourcing a rare 45 RPM track for a custom "Your Music, Your Memories" shadow box or carefully arranging forest elements inside a frame, I treat every order as a personal collaboration.
